- 1 cup frozen mango chunks, thawed
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila or mezcal
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz mango puree
- 1 oz pure carrot juice
- Tajin, dehydrated orange slice, pineapple leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the mango puree by blending all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of a cocktail glass and coat in tajin for a flavorful touch.
- Add all ingredients, plus a handful of ice, to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds to mix well, then pour over ice in the prepared glass.
- Garnish with pineapple leaves and enjoy your refreshing drink!
Notes
Make the mango puree ahead of time for easier prep.
For a stronger drink, adjust the tequila or mezcal to taste.
Feel free to get creative with garnishes like fresh fruit or herbs.
