- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon rose water
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, mix the strawberries, water, and honey. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 minute while skimming foam, then turn off the heat.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Mash the strawberries with a fork or blend in a food processor for a smooth sauce.
- Add the rose water to the strawberry mixture and stir well.
- Serve the strawberry sauce over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add more rose water as desired.
This sundae pairs well with whipped cream and nuts for added texture.
Store any leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to a week.
