Instructions
- Microwave the flour in a bowl for 45 seconds or until it reaches 160°F, then let it cool completely.
- In a stand mixer, combine the softened butter and brown sugar. Whisk on medium-high for 5 minutes until light and airy.
- Scrape the bowl's sides and mix in the vanilla extract until fully integrated.
- Add the cooled heat-treated flour and salt, mixing until the mixture is uniform.
- Incorporate half of the heavy cream (about 2-3 tablespoons) and mix until evenly distributed.
- Add the powdered sugar and gradually pour in the remaining heavy cream as it combines. Mix until smooth and velvety.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and use immediately to frost your favorite treats.
